I need Car Amp Help asap?
Ok I have a Kicker Dx700 mono class D amp. The amp is fine but wont work correctly in my truck. All the wires and ran perfect fuses are all ok even by the batt. But When i turn the volume up and the beat hits at its hardest point the amp cuts off and goes into protection mode. I then checked to see if any wires were touching and everything was ok. So I took it in to the pros and they told me that they think i should get a new batt. What do you all think?
I had the batt tested and its going dead so heres my other quest. Ive been driving and starting my truck with this week batt with no problem, so do you think theres a little juice left to put the old battery in my truck to act as a capaciter.

you wont need to do that, you wont even need a cap.
just get a new battery if you truck is going to need one, if the power wire for your amp isnt 4gauge or bigger upgrade to a 4 gauge wire, thats your best bet
new battery, and bigger power wire for your amp.. after you get the new battery you shouldnt have much of a problem anymore

after replacing the batter, everything should be fine then, if it isnt it must be something else.. but odds are it will be fine
