I’m pretty sure the answer is (D) black.

The reason something is any color is because light of that color is reflected back. For instance, the red dress is red because the fabric absorbs all the other colors of light but reflects the red light back to your eye. If there is no red light, then there is no light to reflect back to your eye, hence, the dress appears black.
